NFL Week 17 picks, schedule guide and playoff picture. Fantasy football tips, odds and injuries.

We've got all you need to know about Week 17. The 2021 NFL season schedule is packed with exciting matchups. Our NFL Nation reporters give us the most important keys to each game, bold predictions for each matchup and our final score picks.

ESPN Stats & Information offers a great stat, a playoff picture and/or draft situation implications as well as a betting nugget. The Football Power Index (FPI), also contains insider numbers such a matchup rating (on a 1 to 100 scale) and a projected game. ESPN researcher Kyle Soppe provides useful fantasy football information. To help you prepare for an intense weekend of NFL football, you can find everything you need in one place.

Let's dive into Week 17, including Patrick Mahomes against Joe Burrow in an AFC Powerhouse Showdown, Ryan Tannehill against Arizona, Dallas dueling to playoff positioning, and Ravens trying for playoff positioning against Matthew Stafford's Rams. All of this culminates in a Monday Night Football matchup on ESPN between the Steelers and the Browns. (Unless noted otherwise, games are on Sunday.

What to watch: The team that is able to control the game with its offense will win. Kansas City leads the NFL with points per drive and is able to hold possessions longer than any other team in the league. While the Bengals are dynamic through the air, Joe Mixon might be used to exploit a Kansas City defense, which ranks 31st for run stop win rate, and allows 4.7 yard per rush attempt, which is the third-worst NFL defense. -- Ben Baby

Bold prediction. The Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes will throw for more that 300 yards, while the Bengals' Joe Burrow is expected to throw for more. With more than 4,000 passing yards each, they are fifth and sixth, respectively. Both have five 300-yard passing performances this year, with Burrow finishing last week with a 525 yard game. -- Adam Teicher

Stat to know: Mixon scored 16 touchdowns this season, one shy of matching Carl Pickens (1995), who holds the record for most Bengals-era seasons.

Playoff and draft implications. The Chiefs have a win and the AFC West is locked up. But they can still clinch the No. A win or loss by the Titans would make them the AFC's top seed. The Bengals could win the AFC North by beating either the Ravens or winning and tieing with the Steelers. View the most recent playoff picture.

Injuries: Chiefs | Bengals

Teicher's pick: Chiefs 31, Bengals 23

Baby's pick: Chiefs 37, Bengals 21

FPI prediction KC, 61.1% (by a mean of 3.8 Points)

Matchup must reads: Edwards Helaire week-to–week with a bruised shoulder... Burrow orders custom watches to support his offensive line

Bold prediction: Rams defensive end Aaron Donald will have his third multi-sack season. This is regardless of whether Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley are running the Baltimore offense. He recalls the embarrassing defeat the Rams faced in front a prime-time audience in L.A. 45-6 in 2019 and says he is out to get revenge. Donald was the NFC Defensive Player Of The Month in December. He produced six sacks, and two forced fumbles. Look out for him to continue his late season streak against the Ravens. -- Lindsey Thiry

Stat to know: Cooper Kupp of Los Angeles could become the fourth player in the league to surpass 1970's record for receiving yards, touchdowns, and receptions. He would join Steve Smith and Sterling Sharpe in 2005. Jerry Rice was Jerry Rice in 1990. Kupp has 132 catches and 1,734 yards with 14 TDs.

Playoff and draft implications. The Rams have clinched a playoff spot and can now secure NFC West with a win over the Cardinals. The odds of them finishing as division champions rise from 73% - 90% with a win to 54% with losses. According to ESPN's FPI. With a win on Sunday, the Ravens would have a 59% chance of reaching the playoffs. It would drop to 8% with a loss. They could also be eliminated if the Raiders Chargers and Dolphins win. If they lose, the Raiders & Chargers win, while the Dolphins & Bills win and other strength-of-victory scenarios are played. View the most recent playoff picture. winning nfl picks essential sports betting guide
